* ABOUT ;
Genevieve was born as the sole heir to the throne of the kingdom of Gialia, to Phillip and Juliette Tyranall, the latter whom died in childbirth.
She was raised to be well versed not only in music and the arts, but also in politics and foreign policy. After all, she was meant to be a queen one day, ruling alongside her betrothed, one Trevyr Stanlire of Sania. That was the plan, however, until the eve before her eighteenth birthday.
She awoke that night to the sounds of screaming and clashing swords, and before she could even step into the hall to see what the issue was, soldiers wearing Sanian colors stormed into her room and took her prisoner. She was caged like an animal and dragged into Sania, being treated like nothing more than a common whore. Two years passed, bringing with them scarring and beatings, broken legs, sexual abuse, and other unthinkable wounds brought by Trevyr's hands. She could hardly sleep without waking up in tears, screams and cries tearing at her throat.
Before long, Gialian troops found her and stormed Trevyr's castle, effectively rescuing her and returning her to her own ancestral home. It's there that she's informed of the extent of her injuries, that she could no longer become a mother, just another thing Trevyr had taken from her. By this point, she was numb, but her anger burned inside her like molten metal. She would take everything from him as recompense for what he had done to her.
After she had recovered from the bulk of her injuries, Genevieve went as far as to declare war on Sania. The following three years were filled with strife and fighting, her highness joining the fighting herself, at one point. Her troops fought alongside her in battle, not questioning her decision to join them.
It was an additional two years before Genevieve came face to face with Trevyr once again. Their courtiers had arranged a battle between the two monarchs - whoever was left alive at the end would take both countries for their own. After a long and arduous battle, one that left Genevieve wounded — after all, Trevyr wanted to make sure no one ever wanted her again, and what better way than to attack her face — the Sanian royal lay dead in a pool of his own blood.
It was shortly after that she was returned to her castle and, despite having killed the source of her troubles and become monarch over both Gialia and Sania, she was left to pick up the pieces alone.

* VERSES ;
+VERSE ONE; BBC's The Musketeers
Born in 1609 in Châlons-en-Champagne, Genevieve Rosalyn Vivienne Tyranall grew up with little to no wants. She was supplied with some of the best tutors, the finest fashions, and a place at court once she came of age.
At the age of 17, she was engaged to another count’s son, Trevyr Stanlire. Their engagement was brief and hardly happy, and the wedding happened much to her dismay. The following four years were torturous, filled with verbal, mental, physical and sexual assault, leaving the young comtesse’s mind and body littered with scars.
It was only when her father discovered his daughter’s abuse that the marriage was annulled, and charges were brought up against the young comte. He, however, never went to trial, and instead fled France, threatening to find Genevieve and take his anger out on her.
In fear for her safety, she fled her beloved Châlons-en-Champagne and took up residence in a large home in Paris, quietly abandoning her duties as comtesse in favor of working at the musketeers' garrison.
By the time the Franco-Spanish War broke out, and most of the soldiers left the garrison, Genevieve was at a loss for what to do. So, she did what she could, slicing her hair off and slipping into the military as the Comte de Châlons-en-Champagne’s long lost son, Henri. Over the next four years, she fought on the front lines, making sure to not make a name for herself as a particularly courageous or outstanding soldier.
Eventually, Genevieve was injured, sporting a particularly nasty gash to the side that never truly healed right, and sent away from the front. Upon her return to Paris, she took up work in the garrison once again, helping train and watch over the newest of recruits.
+VERSE TWO; Castlevania
Born to a count and countess in 1456 in Châlons-en-Champagne, Genevieve was raised in the lap of luxury. Despite this, it was instilled in her from a young age to always give what she could to those who were less fortunate.
By the time she was 15, she was already betrothed to another count’s son, a boy named Trevyr Stanlire. When her father put the wedding on hold due to rising tensions in their lands, Trevyr reacted poorly, kidnapping and subsequently raping Genevieve. She managed to escape and find her way home, but upon explaining what had happened, no one believed her. She was presented with two choices: either marry Trevyr, or be disowned.
She chose the latter.
After packing a bag (and taking what money she could from the coffers), Genevieve left her home, traveling to Romania where her now dead mother’s family lived. Little did she know the turmoil that had befallen her mother’s homeland.
+VERSE THREE; The Witcher
Genevieve was born to the Duke and Duchess of the duchy of Gialia, a small bit of country between Nazair and Toussaint. She grew up without a want and, upon turning seventeen, she was engaged to a marquis from Toussaint, Trevyr Stanlire. As much as Genevieve tried to care for him, he was nothing but cruel to her, berating, beating, and assaulting her in hopes of making her a “submissive, obedient wife”.
On the eve of their wedding, while she slept, a handmaid walked in on Trevyr attempting to rape Gen. He had already attacked her, leaving her with two gaping wounds to her face, one of them having slashed her cheek wide open. Having been caught, he fled through the window, transforming into a bat – during the entirety of their engagement, he had hidden his true nature; he was a vampire.
Genevieve took to wearing a mask while in public. Long after the engagement was called off, her mother passed away and shortly after, her father joined her, leaving a now thirty year old Gen to rule over the duchy.
+VERSE FOUR; Elden Ring
The tales of the Storm Lord and his defeat at the hands of Lord Godfrey were merely that - tales. Instead, the king was a queen, a woman of combined beauty and strength who could wield storms and as if they were an extension of her very being.It is unknown what happened to Genevieve, Queen of Storms, but very few today travel the Lands Between, hoping to find vestiges of her power, and even fewer still desiring to enter into her service.
+VERSE FOUR; Dungeons and Dragons
Born in the Blacklake District of Neverwinter, Genevieve was raised with a proverbial silver spoon in her mouth. With her father being a well-renowned jewelry maker, money was never an issue, leaving Genevieve to be utterly devoted to her studies growing up - language, politics, poetry, and piano, amongst other things.
When she reached maturity, her hand was given to the son of a Neveren baron, a man named Trevyr. This would mark a turning point in Genevieve's life, where her prior life of ease turned to one of torment. Trevyr began their engagement as very sweet, but quickly became a monster, more or less torturing Genevieve for his own amusement. It didn't matter where they were or what they were doing, he would happily take the opportunity to harass her. This continued until the day of their wedding when, hours before the ceremony was to take place, Trevyr took advantage of her, leaving her bloodied and weeping, her skirts torn and stained with her own crimson. Laying on the floor of her chambers, whispering to whatever god would hear her, Genevieve swore to make him pay. Quietly gathering herself up, she left Trevyr's home and Neverwinter as a whole, carrying what little she had in terms of valuables on the way to Baldur's Gate.
